1. Practice good posture (especially at work)
In other words, sit and stand up straight.
Slouching over will cause neck, shoulder and upper
back tightness that will squeeze down on blood
vessels and irritate nerve endings - causing tension
headaches
2. Take a stretch break every hour if you work at a
computer
This will improve circulation, which will help keep
headaches away
3. Stay hydrated
Dehydration can cause tension headaches
4. Get Plenty of Rest; sleep on a regular schedule
Your body recharges best between 10 a.m. and
2 p.m. Lack of sleep has been shown to cause
tension headaches.
5. Reduce Stress through meditation and deep
breathing exercises
Did you know it's impossible to be angry when
you breath deeply from the belly for a minute or
so? And by being calmer, you lessen the likelihood
of tension headaches.
6. Support your immune system with high-quality
supplements
Liquid supplements are best.
7. Abstain from spicy and fried foods
They're bad for your entire system.
8. Abstain from overindulging in alcohol
Drinking too much will dehydrate you can
cause headaches.
9. Sleep on your back/ensure your head's not
pushed up while sleeping
Sleeping on your back puts your head in a neutral
position, which means your neck won't tighten
up at night.
10. Exercise regularly
This will help circulation and help detoxify your
body.
Well wafa that's it for now.
All the best,
Paul
